On Saturday, April 13, the 2013 legislative session adjourned and with the closing gavel came the biggest victories for West Virginia gun owners and sportsmen in recent history.  This legislative session saw the passage of four significant pro-gun bills that will advance the Second Amendment rights of West Virginia residents.

Connecticut: Join NRA and Other Second Amendment Supporters for a Lobby Day to Protect Your Rights on March 11

On Monday, March 11, the National Rifle Association, in association with the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the Coalition of Connecticut Sportsmen, and the Connecticut Citizens Defense League, will host a Lobby Day at the state Capitol in Hartford.  Your presence is needed to communicate with your state legislators that you oppose passage of sweeping anti-gun legislation that is riddled with failed policies and infringes on the rights of law-abiding citizens.

Join NRA and Second Amendment Supporters on February 5-7 in Saint Paul

As previously reported here by NRA-ILA, on Tuesday, February 5, the Minnesota House Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee will begin three days of hearings to consider sweeping restrictions on our right to keep and bear arms. The committee will be considering a ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms – including common hunting rifles – as well as imposition of magazine capacity restrictions, a ban on private transfers, and institution of a universal background check system.  Your voice is desperately needed in Saint Paul to prevent tried and failed policies that will do nothing more than disarm honest law-abiding gun owners and infringe on our rights.
