Judge having spoken, D.C. officials consider allowing residents to carry guns

To carry or not to carry? That is no longer the question.One month after a federal judge’s ruling, District officials have conceded that the city’s long-standing ban on carrying guns in public must be scrapped and replaced with a new law that will allow at least some law-abiding city residents to bear arms on city streets.

Pennsylvania: Senate Could Consider Pigeon Shoot Ban as Early as Tomorrow

The Pennsylvania Senate returns to session tomorrow, Sunday, and may consider and vote on House Bill 1750, legislation that would ban pigeon shooting in the Commonwealth.  It is critical that you contact your state Senator immediately and urge him or her to vote against the criminalization of this traditional shooting sport.

Delaware: House Administration Committee to Consider Bill to Limit Magazine Capacity Tomorrow

House Bill 58 will be heard in the House Administration Committee tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in the House Chamber of Legislative Hall in Dover. If passed by this committee, HB 58 could be voted on by the entire House as early as this Thursday.  Sponsored by state Representative Helene Keeley (D-3), HB 58 would prohibit the manufacture, sale, purchase, transfer or delivery of magazines with the capacity to accept more than ten rounds of ammunition.  Please contact members of the House Administration Committee TODAY and your own state Representative, and respectfully urge them to oppose House Bill 58.
